Taxpayers who have chosen the presumptive taxation plan under section 44AD & 44ADA must pay their advance tax in full by March 15th. They can also pay all of their tax obligations by March 31.
The Income Tax Department receives information about your earnings and taxes via an Income Tax Return (ITR) form. A taxpayer’s tax liability is computed using his or her income. If the return reveals that the individual paid excess tax during the year, the individual will be eligible for an income tax refund from the ITD.
CIT (A) is the first Appellate Authority under the Income Tax Act, 1961 to whom the Assessee can approach if he is aggrieved by the Order of the Assessing Officer. The CIT(A) shall dispose the appeal so filed by exercising his powers. The Commissioner of Income-tax (Appeals) can condone the delay in filing the appeal if genuine reason exists for delay.
